Rice With Greens and Sausage

(Easy and Quick Recipes for One)

  • Rice (about 1/3 to 1/2 cup uncooked rice per person)
  • Canned seasoned greens (collards or mixed)
  • Sausage, fully cooked, such as kielbasa
  • A bit of oil for browning sausage

Cook rice according to directions on package. Heat canned greens on stove or in microwave. Cut sausage into bitesize pieces and brown in a skillet. Top rice with greens and sausage.
