(Easy and Quick Recipes for One)
- 1 cup milk (or almond, soy or coconut milk)
- 1/4 cup chia seeds
- Honey, sugar, or other sweetener, to taste
- Fruit, berries for topping (optional)
In the evening, mix ingredients in a bowl or pint-size mason jar. Stir well, let sit for a few minutes and stir well again to prevent lumps. (If you use a mason jar, you can just put the lid on and shake it.) Place in refrigerator. Take out of fridge in the morning and give it a good stir. Break up any lumps by smooshing them against the sides of the bowl or jar with a spoon. If desired, top with fruit or berries right before eating.
